It has been a really busy week for me, mostly going everywhere when I am not sitting at home. I will most likely sit at home, continue with the writting when I am at home. Anyway, here is the story.
A day before leaving the UK, my brother cooked some really delicious food (actually I told him it is not delicious because he always said the food that I cook is not delicious, so I assume the best way to revenge is to critisize the food that he cooked). He cooked something related to white tofu. Tofu is very nutritious. According to some experts, existing research have proven that consuming white tofu by a lot will increase a person's life span by 3 years. The research has been conducted with people staying in the middle east.

We spend a lot of money buying chocolates for friends this time. Varieties of chocolates from Godiva. We even get to test free chocolates. I love to eat Godiva chocolates. Though it is costly but the taste of this chocolate is really nice, and very different compared to other chocolates.
Okay, I am set to leave the country now.

I went to Heathrow airport last week, and reached there at around 4:30 AM. A very happy feeling since I am leaving the UK soon. I waited for an hour and a half at the airline desk (around 6:00AM), trying to validate my air ticket. Do you believe that there are no seats for their passangers in terminal 3! Well, none is visible for me if they do. Anyway, I waited at the front of the desk until 7:00 AM and a lady showed up at the airdesk, telling me, "please be patience and wait for another 30 minutes since I am setting up stuffs here", and gave me a smile on her face! I told her I am patience enaugh, else I will not wait for 3 long hours standing infront of the desk now. She seemed to ignored me :(

I have finally validated my ticket, and move into the duty free area. They have lots of seats available for their passangers here. Such a busy day! I can see many people around me, chatting around, etc.

I am feeling very glad that the flight is so empty. I got a 3-person seat where I can lie down and sleep vertically (this is also the first time for me). Two pictures captured secretly inside the plane before departing from Heathrow.

I finally reached home. Waited an hour and a half for my parents to pick me up. Quite happy, for the first time after (around) nine years, my grand parents were there to pick me up. i have not seen them for at least 7 / 8 years because they went to New York at that time, and stayed there for so many years. They still looked good to me.
One reason of staying here rather than in the UK is the cheapness of foods. A bowl of noodle only cost like, RM 4.50? That is equivalent to around £ 0.90 or £ 0.80. Tell me where can you get a bowl of noodle for this price in the UK, lol. Besides that, there are a variety of foods that could be found in this so called "pasar-malam" (or nightmarket).

I just recalled a week before leaving the UK, my brother and I went to a chinese grocer store. We wanted to buy some bittergourd to cook. However, we did not buy any. They were selling at around £ 3.00 each (Rm 15, and the current currency exchange rate is £1.00 equivalent to RM 5.20). If you take a look at the picture in the below, try to make your own comparison. Also, the price of one papaya is around £2.40 in the UK. I remember a pineapple is around £1.50 in the UK.

And this is what strongly encouraged me to stay longer in my hometown, lol. Fried kueh teow! Nice looking, delicious, tasty! Omg. It tastes so good, and to me, it taste much better than the pasta / spagetthi noodle lol.
Then, we went to some newly built supermarket (the Carrefour) build somewhere around the place I am staying. I don't think I can find one big supermarket like this anywhere in London.

And finally, this is for my brother to read. We usually buy 3 garlics for the price of £1.00. When Elizabeth and I were walking around a shopping complex, I got shock when i see this. Around 8 pieces of garlic for the price of Rm 0.99? Lol! Thanks to Liz for holding these garlics for me :P

I will upload more stories and pictures if i find something interesting.
