Finally, the students are graduating. I feel proud to share the happiness and joy with all of them, including their parents. There were approimately 12 graduation ceremonies hosted at Middlesex University, UK this year, within the 4 busy days in this week. My brother's graduation ceremony lies on tuesday whilst friends convo on friday. So I have been busy in the 2 days in this week, very hectic but worth the time spend. I am extremely happy to see everyone smiling so happily on their day. Anyway, I wanted to wish Dr. Rajan who completed and graduated her PhD. I am so proud of her although I do not have the opportunity to take any photographs with her. She was too busy entertaining other friends :) I think the date of the picture was written wrongly. She suppose to graduate on the 7th of July 2009, so I assume the date on the picture is her PhD completion date.

A big congratulations goes to my brother who has graduated for his bachelor degree this year. My mom, Liz and I attended his graduation on that day. Quite upset since we could not take much pictures on that day. It was raining heavily! *sob* So, most of the pictures were taken inside the college building. The first image (in the below) was captured in the college building by someone else, but due to the blurish quality of the image itself, I have turned the image in a completely different mode: sketching with paint brush, with Adobe Photoshop.

We met Carl (my supervisor) standing happily at the middle of the quadrangle, smiling happily when looking at my brother. He said: "You are probably the only student who graduated with flying colours that I know, who did 8 modules in one semester, after teaching for 20 over years. From now on, I will not allow any students to delay submitting their work just because of you", Lol.

We then moved to the photo-shooting studio to meet the professional photographers. The photographer is a very nice person. He allowed us to stand in the studio to take photographs with our own cameras although there were plenty of people waiting at the que out there for photo-shooting.

Intentionally, I was bored to sit inside the graduation hall anymore. One reason is that every year by year, friends invited me to attend their convocation, and therefore, I have been repetitively sitting and listening to the same thing over and over again every year, lol.

Finally, the rain stopped. Thank god, but we only managed to capture few pictures since we have to proceed to return the graduation robe to the school soon. Finally, my brother has graduated. Congrats to him again.

Three days later, I attended my friends graduation ceremony. I realized time passes very quickly. They were graduating! Too bad I could not complete my studies, else I would be able to join them for graduation this year :( Anyway, they will be coming back for their postgraduate (masters) studies soon, I heard in the upcoming intake (September 2009) but studying in some different universities.

One, two, three! I yelled to them by saying to help them taking an image outside the graduation hall. Probably women nature, look at what are they doing! Lol. Some of them were tidying their hood, some were playing with their hair etc. Haha! This is the first time taking picture with a group of pianist, wait, I should recognise them as some professional musicians instead especially when most of them know how to use the so-called 'second instruments'. Therefore, I am feeling a little stiff on that day :)

Anyway, we took plenty of picture. Most of the pictures were posted on 'our' facebook. Therefore, I only pick a few images randomly and post it on this blog.

I remember someone telling me that the graduates who throw their graduation hood away in their graduation day should have no intention of continue studying anymore in the future. But since Ting-Ting is going to continue with a postgraduate studies soon, therefore, I was wonder what is she doing. She should keep the hood nicely instead of throwing? Lol.

Anyway, a guy friend approached us. I believe he is one of the music student.

After listening to the announcement, all graduates proceed to the college building for some refreshments. They managed to take a picture for me with the crafted '2009' word located near the entrance of the building.

I took a picture at least with everyone of them.

Did not know where Wei Teing went, has been busy looking for her but she is not visible in sight. Probably busy taking photographs with some other people at that time. Therefore, I have no opportunity to take an individual photograph with her :( I will, hopefully when she complete her postgraduate in the future.

We spend the remaining 20 minutes in the quadrangle before the girls return their graduation robes. By the way, I met Ashley's mom. She is an extremely nice person to speak to. Generally, from observation, she is an extremely soft person, just like Ashley. Like what people says: "Like mother, like daughter"? Cool. She also offered us to pay her a visit at her home in Teluk Intan (a state in Malaysia, called Ipoh), and planing to spend us seafood as dinner. Yay! Lol.

I also randomly pick some of their photographs from their facebook (with their permission) and posted here.

By the way, I managed to capture some photos of the inner-section of the graduation hall with Jess's SLR camera (similar to THIS) :O Very nice camera, I like it very much, and will get one myself 'when' I am richer in the future.

Finally, they went home. Ka Ka and Ashley told me they made some desserts. Too bad I could not join them on that night since I am staying too far away from them. I heard it tastes delicious :(

Anyway, they will be leaving the country today, and so, I would like to wish them a safe trip again on this blog. Hope to see them soon.
