It provide a completely scratch resistant touchscreen interface, which means that it will not produce any scratches at all even when used by a female with long nails. An IBM spokeman says that the new Cell chip contained in the new PS3 slim (45nm)is much slimmer compared to the old PS3 machine (65nm). This means that the new PS3 slim machine will slightly compress your electricity usage up to 40% lesser since the size of the chip is slightly (34%) smaller than the old model. This new machine will also generate lesser disturbing fan noise. This is a rumor from a Sony spokeman. He said that the memory size has expanded from 120 Gigabyte to 250 GB, twice their memory size. Sony identified that their new PS3 slim will cost £250 in September 2009.
