Handicapped

16:38 / Posted by TL /

Today is the 9th day, also the day when I have finally agreed to pay a visit to a chinese doctor. I had been suffering for 9 days now, and finally found out the real symptoms of the pain that I have been struggling all these while, the dislocation of bone structure in my right hand. The chinese doctor is a very funny person, he can speak, he can joke, he has a big body (size) etc. Best is, i think, he is way younger than me. Probably a 18 year old doctor? Lol.

According to him, my right hand's bone structure has been dislocated. This is also why I have been struggling with the pain for more than a week. One of the many reason of not seeking for a chinese doctor is that Dr. Rui who is a medical doctor himself has told me to wait patiently for my hand to recover by itself. The reason for him to say so is that the fracture / dislocation / etc. in a person's bone involves complex processes of body cells and tissue proliferation and differentation. When we accidentally dislocated the bone structure somewhere in the body, many tissues around the joint of the bone will dissapear, or to be more specific, something is definitely wrong with the tissues and / or most of the tissue are dead. Dislocation of bone usually happens after trauma (trauma means injuries cause by strong collision causing something to dislocate). Dislocation of bone may occur when you were carrying a baby. The position of carrying the baby is wrong, so the energy that you have consume is wrong, causing the bone structure to dislocate. Such a simple task may cause dilocation in bone? The doctor said yes! I think i know what is the main reason to have such bone dislocation. I have been carrying a lot of books and papers lately to lectures / seminars / labs, and probably used too much energy? Lol. So sad that i do not have the patience to wait for my hand tissues to recover by itself. It is just too painful!

So what happen is that, I almost yelled to the doctor, the moment when he was 'playing' around with my hand, twisting here and there :( Those crunchy cracking sound "KRARK!!!!!!" Oh my god, this is the first time I feel so painful. Anyway, I do feel a little better, much more relief compared to before meeting the doctor. There are consequences that I have to obey for 3 consecutive though, as an exchange with the pain:

(1) What kind of food shouldn't I eat: Duck, chicken, beef, prawn, crab, fish, other forms of seafood, tom yam, assam laksa, prawn noodle, bah kut teh, beans, bean sprout, acidic vegetables, pickled vegetables, cabbage (2) What kind of drinks shouldn't I eat? Tea, chinese tea, green tea, beer, whisky, red / white wine, soya accidic drinks, carbonated drinks, cold drinks (3) When should i remove the medicine? 3 full days.

What should I eat and drink for 3 consecutive days then? :(

I think i looks like a handicapped person now. I cannot really move around my right hand, which makes things much more difficult. I can barely type, hold anything (including a very small plate), no driving is allowed, etc. So sad. I feel myself like a handicapped person now. Well, speaking of a handicapped person, I think this new technology like a "smarthome" should be beneficial. I think many people should know known what a smarthome is. It is a new technology where people utilises it as a control for their home.

It is a very useful technology for people with different disabilities, specifically handicapped person like me :) They only need to place this smarthome somewhere reachable for them, so control every single thing at home. For example, if they wanted to turn on the light in the kitchen and that person is in the dining room, all he need to do is to push the light button in the smarthome to turn the lights on. Very convenient isn't it?
