Spending half a day with my mui-mui

10:49 / Posted by TL /

Chong Swee Ling, a.k.a. my mui-mui (pinyin: unknown), age: 21 (i think), d.o.b: N/A, home adress: N/A.

We treated each other as siblings (usually, I will call her mui-mui) since year 2009. However, the above are the only information provided by her :( She dated me a couple of days ago, bringing me out with her kancil. When she gave me a phone call, I was about to lead her to somewhere else (a little confusion where there were 2 petrol stations around my place, one in the east and another in the west). Somehow, almost everyone who visitted us will have trouble looking for my home :S

We decided to try out something 'fresh' and since that is the only day (I think) I am free, so she took me to this restaurant for dinner in Petaling Jaya (PJ). I ordered this dish called the Hakka Lui Cha. This is the first time I taste something like this. Many friends have been telling me about this Hakka Lui Cha, so I have a basic understanding of what it is. From my understanding, this is a hakka tea based food consisting of a mixture of tea leaves. Two separate dishes, (1) some rice grounded together with various roasted nuts, seeds, grains, beans, and with some various of vegetables, and (2) a small bowl of savory chinese tea (usually green tea / oolong tea), and mixing (1) and (2) before eating them. If you look at the pictures in the below, you will have a rough idea of how this beverage looks like. Hmm, tasty? I am not sure. It tastes so traditional, giving me a very traditional feeling (a feeling of my grandmother feeding me with food when I was aged 4) when having this food lol.

Then, she full tank her car with petrol, and took me around Kuala Lumpur. So nice of her for doing that. This is also the first time someone wasting money on petrol, driving me around PJ and Kuala Lumpur. A while later, she took me to Mont Kiara (somewhere in KL), in this dessert bar (I think), and yes, she is hungry again. She said "I loves eating, and I usually a lot". This vege-eater human breed can eat a lot serious. She can eat more than me! Ok no joke, this is a compliment by me. I still wonder how some people can eat continuously and not getting fat.

'We' had a slice of cheesy tofu cake and a cup of concentrate grape fruit juice as dessert. Although we shared the food together, including the drink, but she consume at least 93% of the dessert :) Somehow, I am really happy to see some people who can eat and smile at the same time. It is something worth observing.
